The Laney

Southeast Capital Companies, LLC (Atlanta based) and Interstate Parkway Developers, LLC (Augusta based), have closed on a HUD 221(d)(4) New Construction program to develop “The Laney”.

The Laney is a Class “A” garden style apartment community, featuring 230 market rate apartment homes in Augusta, Georgia. The community will be located on approximately 14.8 acres and will be adjacent to The Doctor’s Hospital, the preeminent burn hospital of the Southeast. Building improvements will include eight (8) 3-story walk-up garden, craftsman-style residential buildings with exterior breezeways and stairwells. Indoor amenities will feature a 6,000 square foot clubhouse, with leasing offices, coffee bar, lounge area with flat screen TVs, internet café and a fully equipped fitness studio. Outdoor amenities will feature resort-style lounge area with a fire pit, chef-inspired outdoor grills and a resort-style saline pool.

Avondale East

Avondale East is a 55 home single-family home community starting in the low $600s.  This up and coming community offers a variety of 15 floorplans which include front entry, rear entry and drive under garages.  Plans also offer functionalities such as a guest bedroom on the main, in law suites in the terrace level, and flex space.  Avondale East offers pocket parks for leisure as well as having the convenience of being minutes away from shopping, restaurants and entertainment in Avondale Estates, plus close proximity to the Interstate 285 for traveling ease.

The Mill Marketplace

The Mill is a fully leased office asset developed in partnership with Southeast Capital and Coro Realty Advisors, LLC. The development consisted of renovating and re-purposing an existing historic building – The Excelsior Mill – immediately adjacent to the new North & Line apartment community. This historically-designated structure of approximately 30,000 sf is also conveniently situated in the Old Fourth Ward district, just across the street from the city’s recently dedicated and new urban gem – the Old Fourth Ward Park. Originally built in 1901 as the Dupre Excelsior Mill, the structure has housed many enterprising uses though-out its history, with the most recent being a music venue. The original structure was designated as a Landmark Building or Site (LBS) in 2006.

North & Line

North & Line is a partnership between Southeast Capital and SWH Residential Partners. North & Line is an apartment community on North Avenue immediately adjacent to the Atlanta Beltline and Historic Old Fourth Ward Park. Given its aforementioned prominent siting on the Beltline, it is strategically positioned to capitalize on the local revitalization and high demand for in-town apartments. The site is collectively 3.3 acres housing 228 units in a midrise apartment development with approximately 4,500 square feet of ground floor retail space. It was constructed as a five story, apartment community over a three (3) level podium parking deck. The building amenities include an elevated pool and ample pool deck overlooking the Historic Old Fourth Ward Park and the Atlanta skyline. Additionally, there is a 5,000 square foot interactive, social space with a full fitness center. This long-term hold asset was stabilized in early 2020.
